CHARITIES DAY
5 October 2011 - Italian Charities Day
BIOTECH 2011 will host, on 5 October, the Italian Charities Day, dedicated to the associations, foundations, no-profit organizations which are involved in fundraising for scientific research and with their important activities have, in these years, reached considerable results regarding progress in the cure of many important illnesses.
The programme of the CHARITIES DAY includes conferences, meetings and debates that will deal in depth with topics such as the social importance, support from public bodies, and criteria for the allocation of funds for research.
For all the three days of BIOTECH 2011, there will also be a special exhibition area dedicated to Charities, which, in this way, will have greater visibility, as well as the opportunity to present their activities, and meet up with operators and researchers of the life science sectors.
BIOTECH 2011 will therefore shine the spotlight on these important organizations, which have a fundamental role in fighting diverse illnesses, some of which rare.
